About Snake River Academy
Snake River Academy is a family-based cooperative school program serving the Twin Falls area. We believe in a collaborative approach to education where parents actively participate in teaching and nurturing the educational journey of all children in our community.
Our Program
- Classes are offered for children ages 3-18, with nursery services available for younger siblings.
- We meet in Twin Falls once a week on Thursdays from 8:45am to 12:00pm.
- Every day begins with a devotional for prayer, song, and flag ceremony.
- Each child takes three classes throughout the morning, including a 15-minute snack break between the second and third classes.
- Our program runs for 12 weeks per semester, with a fall semester beginning in September and a spring semester beginning in February.
Parent Participation
As a true cooperative, Snake River Academy requires active participation from parents with the following requirements:
- Lead at least one class per semester
- Assist in at least one additional class
Please note: We are not a drop-off school. Parent involvement is essential to our program.
